Alice Piaggio was born in Genoa, but grew up in Bogliasco, a small Ligurian village frequented by surfers and fishermen. In 2014 she graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts and in the same year she moved to Urbino where, in 2017, she graduated from the illustration course at ISIA.
She lives in Lugano, Switzerland, surrounded by snow-capped mountains, green meadows and chestnut forests.
Winner of the Illustri Award 2019 in the Magazine and Newspapers category, she is co-founder of PELO magazine and collaborates with Italian and foreign magazines and publishing houses.
Alice Piaggio's surreal, fantastical and creative illustrations feature a series of bizarre characters and lots of food.
Among his clients: Vanity Fair, Einaudi Ragazzi, Eli – La Spiga Edizioni, Mondadori, Abitare, Ink Global, Revista KIWI, Underpinned, The World Today.
