Danilo Mondino lives and works in Turin. After the Art School he attended the course “Novalia, research visual arts” by Daniele Cazzato where he began to deepen and refine the drawing technique and, after the Master in illustration for Publishing Ars in Fabula, he finally landed in the world of illustration. His work is driven by the continuous study of technique and the search for new visual possibilities and can be placed within children's illustration, for the simple, colorful and lively iconography. His favorite subjects are animals, bulky and carefree, often portrayed in unlikely situations and in an ironic way. Since 2018 he has actively collaborated with Archivio Tipografico in Turin, a laboratory in which his illustration and manual printing run on the same track.
