Isabella Conti, born in Milan in 1976 “at Carnival, while it snows” lives and works among the green hills of Lake Como.
He works by getting his hands dirty, drawing with watercolors, mixing acrylics, brushes, inks. His is a delicate, meditative work within which to take refuge. His landscapes are dreamlike and suspended, the human being is marginal and small in the face of the immensity of nature. His is a desire to escape from the frenetic rhythms of everyday life through landscapes.
Illustrations as maps of our moods thus create a geography, which helps us explore ourselves, between indigo blue oceans and ochre skies.
