Marco Marella is an illustrator with more than thirty years of career behind him.
He was born in Venice, where he lives and works, in December 1962. His professional career began in the mid-80s, in London, where he approached illustration for the first time by attending courses at the Chelsea School of Art.
His artistic research has never stopped, his constant work and great dedication have led him to work both in the advertising sector (Telecom Italia, Kodak, Parmalat) and in the Italian and foreign publishing sector (Mondadori, Feltrinelli, il Corriere della Sera, Abitare, Il Sole 24 Ore, Repubblica, Le Monde, The Washington Post…) and more recently in the sector of illustration applied to the product, defining a contemporary decorative style where one can breathe the great influence of modern art, still lifes, abstract paintings with a Nordic flavour.
