Margherita Paoletti is an artist and illustrator. She graduated in Illustration and Animation at the European Institute of Design in Rome and attended courses at the
Central Saint Martins and BTK in Berlin. In 2016 she held artistic residencies in Estonia and Japan, focusing on personal projects and exhibitions. In 2017 she moved to London where she worked as a creative designer and illustrator. In 2018 she returned to Italy where she started her collaboration with the art gallery Cellar Contemporary in Trento, while
works as a freelance illustrator all over the world.
Her poetics is based on the central theme of the body, conceived as an organic container that contains life, dreams, desires, memories and experiences. Margherita
tries to translate the new organic physiognomy of the body into a visual expression, made of narration, visual metaphors, colors and nature.
