Sonia Ligorio is a freelance illustrator from the province of Turin, a daydreamer yet one with her feet firmly on the ground. She interprets concepts and ideas, translating them into images that convey emotion and inspire wonder. Her journey began in graphic design, graduating from the Polytechnic University of Turin and working in small graphic design studios and communications agencies. This taught her that complicating is easy and simplifying is difficult, that you improve by doing, that honesty is always rewarded, and that daring is tiring but allows you to explore new worlds. In illustration, she has found a path not only to simplification but also to meaning: for her, every illustration is an infinity just waiting to see the light.
