Antonio Lapone is originally from Turin but basically Franco / Belgian for his artistic choices. Great fan of the 50s and of the “Ligne Claire” or “Atom Style”
to reconnect with the epic of the great universal exhibition in Brussels in 1958, the year of the explosion of design.
He works as a graphic designer, illustrator, cartoonist and designer.
For the French-speaking market he works for several important publishing houses including Dargaud and Glenat. He exhibits his comic strips and his great illustrations to the prestigious Champaka Gallery in Brussels since 2012.
Lapone in his works in strictly flat colors invites us to travel in a “retro-futurist”
world in all elegance with light notes of Jazz.
